Patient Symptoms
If you are experiencing loss of strength or paralysis in an upper extremity (U/E), gross/fine motor coordination, joint(s) weakened by arthritis, decreased endurance or poor activity tolerance, sensory loss/perceptual-motor deficits, dependence in self-care activities (dressing, eating, hygiene, bathing), or dependence in home-management responsibilities (meal planning, housekeeping) then physical therapy may be right for you.
If one or more of these symptoms describes you, talk to your doctor about coming into Progress Physical Therapy where we can walk you through the steps to getting your life back on track.
Important
Under Michigan law, Progress Physical Therapy can provide direct access for physical therapy to you without a script or referral from a physician. However, most insurance carriers still require a signed plan of care from a physician for us to be able to bill your insurance. Please check with your insurance company to determine if your policy covers direct access physical therapy care.
